April 2010 Cyrus has launched two new models, the CD XT SE + CD transport and the DAC X + digital-analogue converter. Both of the new models can each be partnered with a PSX-R power supply and thus increase their performance even further. The Epos Encore 50 is the company’s new flagship loudspeaker. It is a three way floor standing design engineered to a standard not previously achieved by the company. March 2010 Audiomat has introduced three new products. The Aria integrated amplifier operates in full Class A and will be positioned between the Arpege Reference 10 and the Opera Reference. The Tempo 3 is Audiomat’s first D/A converter to have a USB input. The Phono 2 will become Audiomat’s flagship phono preamplifier joining the Phono 1.6 in the product line. September 2009 Sarah Audio is pleased to announce that we are now an authorized dealer for Thorens turntables and Goldring phono cartridges. Thorens’ rich heritage and expertise in manufacturing phonographs and turntables dates back to 1902. Europroducts Marketing has been appointed as the Canadian distributor for Thorens and Goldring. Goldring is a premium British audio brand founded in 1906. All their phono cartridges are hand-crafted, including the stylus mounting, wiring and coil winding. June 2009 Four new products from Audiomat have been announced. Audiomat has introduced the Arpege Reference 10 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Arpege model. Two new D/A converters have also been introduced. The Maestro 2 and the Tempo 2.6 replaces the original Maestro and Tempo 2.5. Lastly, the highly regarded Phono 1.5 has been replaced by the Phono 1.6. December 2008 Cyrus has introduced two new CD players, the CD8 SE and CD6 SE, and a new CD transport, the CD XT SE. All three CD components utilize Cyrus’ Servo Evolution technology. Servo Evolution is a fundamental re-design of the CD transport mechanism and the software that controls its function. As Cyrus states, “it is a made for high-end audio CD engine“. May 2008 Audiomat has announced the release of its new Opus 2 pre-amplifier and the Festival mono amplifiers. The Opus 2 is the successor to the highly regarded Opus pre-amplifier. The Festival mono amplifiers operate in pure Class A and utilize KT-88 output tubes. December 2007 The Audiomat Opera Reference has received an excellent review from sixmoons.com. This review can be seen at the Mutine website. Mutine has been appointed the Canadian distributor for Duevel loudspeakers of Germany. All the Duevel models are omni-directional loudspeakers. Prices start at $1700 per pair. More details can be found at the Mutine website. November 2007 Actinote has introduced their Aria range of cables. Initial offerings include: the MC interconnects, the NC digital cables and the CS 150 Plus and Signature power cords. August 14, 2007 Sarah Audio has become part of the Mutine Audio Zendo network.
